How to cream contour like a pro

Cream contouring seems to have died down a little and I have found myself more often than not just opting for powder contour however recently I have rekindled my love for cream contouring. Since stopping cream contouring I did not notice much of a difference, however after reintroducing this into my makeup routine I have noticed SUCH a difference!! Notino recently sent me other a few goodies and I just had to share them with you.

To make cream contouring that little bit easier, using an oval shaped precise brush definitely helps with application. This brush blend the cream out seamlessly leaving no harsh lines leaving an Angelina Jolie chiseled cheek effect. The Makeup Revolution Pro Precision Brush is fantastic for doing just that. AND, how photogenic is the copper handle? What I love more about this brush is it is extremely light weight which makes applying the product so much easier to control which is perfect if you are newbie to cream contour.

The Loreal Infallible Sculpt Palette is the perfect 2 in 1 palette which allows for a precise and sharp contour without looking muddy and harsh. This compact contains two cream-to-powder pans, one for contouring and the other a highlighter. The great thing about this formula is that it sets to a powder so unless you want a more deep and dramatic contour there is no need to set it. I personally prefer to apply powder on top to create more dimension. After using the darker shade to carve out my cheekbones, nose and jawline, I love to apply the lighter shade in the palette under neath my contour to sharpen and brighten this area to give the illusion of stronger and sharper cheekbones, this is also a great way to fix and correct any areas where you went slightly over board with the darker shade. If you are slightly wary of contouring then I would definitely recommend this as a starting point as you are getting 2 shades for only £10.

Notino.co.uk have a massive range of products that are discounted, including some of my favourite brands such as Tom Ford, Nars, MAC and Benefit. Notino stock loads of bronzing, contouring and brush ranges so be sure to check them out!!!
