Malmaison Aberdeen Review

For my boyfriend's birthday a few months ago I decided to take him to Malmaison Aberdeen. We had such a lovely time there so I thought I would share my thoughts on my stay.

The room was incredibly spacious with the most beautiful bathroom, looking back I wish I had made use of the roll top bath because it was absolutely gorgeous, the bathroom complete with his and her sinks and a double rain shower completed off the room beautifully. My only criticism was that there was no dressing table for me to get ready, but it did not bother me too much. The room was divided into two giving more room, it was a lovely touch having two tv's in the room so we could lounge in the sitting area. The lounge area was complete with a mini bar stocked with lots of treats and alcohol. We also had a terrace which was lovely to sit out in prior to our evening meal.

As pictured above, the restaurant had beautiful decor with touches of tartan which I loved. Not only was the atmosphere lovely but the food was amazing. My boyfriend opted for the burger whilst I went for the steak (not very girly, I know) haha! For dessert we polished off sticky toffee pudding and  Panna cotta. I would highly recommend the steak, my boyfriend definitely regretted not opting for it. The prosecco was one of the best I have had and the service was extremely attentive and formal. At the end, we had a lovely chat with one of the waitresses who was so polite and friendly.

As a student, this was very expensive but I think it is a great thing to do to celebrate with a loved one. However, keep an eye out on their website as they do have deals on every so often. I have been back to Malmaison since and yet again I cannot fault the service and standard provided.

Malmaison have many hotels across the UK, here is the link to their website incase you want a nosey or fancy treating yourself.
