The Nars Creamy, Radiant Concealer Dupe?

I am an advocate of both the Maybelline Fit Me! Concealer and the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer however for £15 less, I would definitely recommend picking this concealer up as an alternative.

The packaging is very simple, sleek and slender with a clear tube making the product visible which I personally love because it allows you to see how much product you have left and has a black lid. The applicator also makes application under the eyes very easy and does not drag under the delicate skin under the eyes.

This concealer contains 6.8ml of product and expires within 6 months.

This concealer comes in 6 different shades, however surprisingly the numbers do not colerate to the shade names:

1. Fair - Shade 15 (lightest shade)
2. Light - Shade 10
3. Medium - Shade 25
4. Sand - Shade 20
5. Deep - Shade 35
6. Cafe - Shade 30 (deepest shade)

I personally use the shade Fair for under the eyes to act as a brightening and correcting effect. The shade Fair is not yellow toned and rather slightly pink toned which helps counteract discolouration under the eye area. I use the shade Light for covering any blemishes on the skin.

For pale to light skin tones I would recommend Fair and light. If you have a medium skin tone or like to self tan then the shades Medium and Sand would be most suitable. If you have a deeper skin tone I would recommend Deep and Cafe or a mixture of the both.

The formula of the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer is very lightweight however it provides a medium coverage. I personally enjoy using this under the eyes in comparison to using it for spots as the coverage is not quite as high as the Nars concealer. Whilst the Nars concealer is higher coverage, it disappoints in hydration and is a very dry formula and therefore the Maybelline concealer trumps due to its hydrating qualities.

As previously mentioned, this product is best use as concealing and brightening under the eyes, however it works as a light spot concealer. I also love using this product as a primer and then powdering it down to prolong the longevity of my eyeshadows. A further use of this product, is to purchase a darker shade and use it as a cream contour and blending it out seamlessly with a damp beauty blender to achieve a natural contour.

Overall, I think this product is brilliant if you are looking for an affordable concealer that does the job. You can purchase this product and thousands more at a discounted price from the BeautySpin website.
