Review & Unboxing | Zoeva Rose Gold Vol 1 Brush Set

I have wanted to get my hands on the Zoeva brushes for the longest time, so when payday came, I decided to go for it. I ordered my brushes from Beauty Bay along with a LOT of other things. P.S. Huge Haul to follow - sorry not sorry.

I contemplated which set would be best to get out of the several ranges that Zoeva has, but I continued to return to the Brown, Rose Gold set because they had the best variety of brushes and would look the best with my other brushes that I already own. The set comes with 8 full size brushes in a gorgeous brown and rose gold clutch which is neatly packaged in a sturdy black cardboard box.

The brushes themselves are individually wrapped in cellophane to keep the brush bristles protected which is then in a larger cellophane bag within the clutch bag. I was really impressed with how securely wrapped this brush set was.

The brush set are dark brown handled with rose gold hardware with the engraved brush number and name. I really love how different these look with the deep brown handles rather than black. It is very vintage looking - it reminds me a lot of the Charlotte Tilbury packaging. The first brush is the 106 powder brush, I think this brush will be great for all over bronzing of the skin. The 102 silk finish brush is the perfect size and shape for any base makeup. The 110 face shape brush is perfect for cream contouring as it blends products in so seamlessly. The 127 Luxe Sheer Cheek is one of my favourite brushes in the collection. It is lovely shaped brush for application of contour and/or blusher. The 142 concealer buffer brush is really great for blending concealer under the eyes and spot concealing, it reminds me a lot of the Real Techniques domed shadow brush only much softer. The 227 luxe soft definer brush, is basically identical to MAC's 217 only I prefer the Zoeva one. This brush is perfect for blending transition shades through the crease. The 231 luxe petite crease brush is a cross between a tapered blending brush and a pencil brush - it is great for crease-precision work. Finally, the last brush is the 317 wing liner brush is perfect for either winged liner or for filling in the brows.

Overall, I think the quality, design and over performance of these brushes is impeccable and for the price, it is a total bargain. I will definitely be growing my collection of Zoeva products in the future.
