THE BUDGET BUY - EYESHADOW PALETTE

So, I gave into Amelia Liana's obsession for the new Collection Nude Eyes Uncovered Eyeshadow palette. I have read and watched Amelia for the longest time so I know and trust her opinion. There are three palettes in this collection, the nude palette, the nude bronze palette and the nude grey palette. I have so many nude and bronze palettes. I love the mac warm neutrals palette and the urban decay naked palette so I did not feel that purchasing all three was necessary

There I was passing the make up counters with David and I think he knew how desperate I was to try it out and blog about it. David kindly bought me this palette, and here I am, yet another palette in hand, to add to my collection.

I love how these colours aren't too intense. I love the cool, neutral tone to the shades which makes them so versatile to work with. I normally tend to find that drugstore eyeshadows can be quite powdery and have a tendency to leave fall out below your eyes, however these shadows are so creamy and buttery in texture. The great thing about this palette is that it includes both grey and bronze toned shades which means you have alternatives if you are on holiday, for example which means you do not have to pack heaps of palettes.

I love wearing the third shade, under the moon, all over the lids and then adding the fourth, drift wood into the crease for depth and definition. The first shade, parchment is a beautiful, matte, white shade which looks great as a highlight.

This palette would also be perfect for those on the go, or for travelling. The last shade, eclipse can be used in replacement for an eyeliner for a more smokey, subtle look! Eclipse, also looks great for turning your look from day to night by adding more depth into the crease for a smokey eye.

My only criticism of this product is the fact it comes with the silly, foam applicators that nobody uses. I think the product could be improved by adding more powder into the compact rather than wasting space with an applicator slot.

The thing that is even better about this palette is the price. It is yours for only £3.99!!
